Hey ya'll

Hey ! Finally, I am getting around to saying hello. It is really embarassing how long I have had this blog and never said a word ;) I am Jae Skuse of Wooly Treasures. I create fiber batts for the handspinner, handspun yarn for the knitters, and hand dyed commerical yarns. Wool, silk, bamboo, glitz....these are my mediums for creativity. I know some of you are thinking ....huh? While others are more like yep, I know what you mean me to, me to... So, this hopefully will be a blog about "look what I made" and" wow, look what my customers created!" Lots of pictures...fewer words ;)

So, for Thanksgiving we went to the mountains, well what consists of mountains here lol. Gatlinburg/pidgeon forge. It was beautiful, the weather was amazing and I really enjoyed being with DH's side of the family. The house was beautiful and the views even more so...

We all had a wonderful time, and I hope your Thanksgiving was as family filled.

Now, for the fiber while on vacation I took this yarn

Wooly Treasures handspun

and made these....

It was wonderful to have "mindless" knitting for the 3 hour ride up.

Have you ever been to Gatlinburg on Thanksgiving? The shops in the Tanger Outlet open at midnight on the morning after turkey day. I have never, never, never seen so many ppl. I thought my usual 4 am shopping would compare...no Crazy bargins, and insane women! lol It was a lot of fun, and I hope to go back next year ;). Sad to say, I did not find even one yarn shop. Well thats about it, I have to go to the studio and card some batts. I hope you have a great day!!!
